American indie rock musician Kurt Vile and his accompanying band The Violators will perform for the first time in Serbia on June 22 at the Main Stage of Arsenal Fest 09 in Kragujevac! Former co-founder and short-term member of the band The War On Drugs, Kurt Ville went to solo with his debut album “Constant Hitmaker” (2008), in order to become one of the most interesting world rock frontman, guitarist and author in the decade.
With the support of the band the Violators, Vail is following the releases “God Is Saying This to You …” and “Childish Prodigy” (2009), “Smoke Ring For My Halo” (2011), “Wakin on a Pretty Daze” (2013) and “B’lieve I’m Goin Down” (2015) offered a powerful catalog of songs, lively and ecstatic, sunny and reflective, sprinkled with imaginative guitar playing, which sounded great 30 years ago and will be great for 30 years.
