Belgrade is in for a serious dose of pure, unfiltered adrenaline on August 28. Under the open sky, Ušće Park will become the stage for one of the fiercest rock and metal events of the season — and the bar has just been raised to the maximum. Before the undisputed icons of heavy music, British legends Judas Priest, take the stage, the crowd will be fired up by Jelusick — a regional sensation with a global reputation, currently delivering some of the most powerful hard rock and modern metal to come out of this part of Europe. At the helm of the band is Dino Jelusić, the vocalist and multi-instrumentalist personally chosen by legendary David Coverdale to perform on Whitesnake’s farewell tour.

For years, Dino has been regarded as one of the most formidable and commanding vocalists of his generation. With his own band Jelusick, he brings crushing guitar riffs, explosive dynamics and a live performance that is remarkably tight, powerful and uncompromising. Their debut album, Follow the Blind Man, received widespread critical acclaim and international recognition, while their second studio release, Apolitical Ecstasy, sees the band pushing the boundaries of modern rock and metal even further — cementing their position among the leading forces on the global scene.

On August 28, the Belgrade audience will have the chance to experience firsthand why Jelusick have earned a reputation as a live powerhouse that simply refuses to hit the brakes. Once Jelusick have set the standard and fully warmed up the Ušće crowd, the legendary British heavyweights will launch their own full-scale assault. Led by the unstoppable “Metal God” Rob Halford, whose voice continues to defy the laws of physics well into his eighth decade, Judas Priest are coming to Belgrade as part of their major European tour. The concert will mark a historic encounter with living legends who, more than five decades ago in Birmingham, helped lay the foundations of modern metal’s sound, image and sheer power. They were also instrumental in bringing the iconic leather-and-studs aesthetic to the forefront — a visual trademark that eventually became a universal symbol of rock culture.

Their extraordinary legacy was further cemented in 2022, when Judas Priest were inducted into the prestigious Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Judas Priest began their journey in 1969, emerging from Birmingham’s industrial heartland and going on to conquer the global music scene, with more than 50 million albums sold worldwide. Their discography reads like a definitive textbook of heavy metal: from the genre-defining British Steel (1980) and multi-platinum Screaming for Vengeance (1982), through Firepower (2018), one of the band’s biggest career successes — reaching the Top 5 in 17 countries and achieving their highest-ever position on the U.S. chart — to their latest studio masterpiece, Invincible Shield (2024), which topped charts around the world. In addition to winning a prestigious Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance for “Dissident Aggressor,” Judas Priest’s legendary appearances at historic festivals including Live Aid, the US Festival and Monsters of Rock at Donington helped define the scale and spectacle of stadium rock — setting standards that continue to influence millions of fans worldwide. Tickets for the Judas Priest concert on August 28 at Ušće are available through eFinity, the eFinity app, as well as at all eFinity and MojKiosk points of sale.
